PHOENIX, AZ & RICHFIELD, OH - July 27, 2011 - ClearDATA Networks, Inc., a leading provider of cloud computing and information security services for the healthcare industry, has entered into a strategic partnership with MediQuant, Inc. a data life cycle management solutions provider, for cloud based application hosting and secure data storage for their Medical Necessity Content and Software applications - DataArk, First Comply and AccuRules.

ClearDATA's deep expertise in information security and HIPAA compliance is a strong technological complement to MediQuant's data lifecycle management solutions. The partnership provides customers with secure, cost effective offsite storage of legacy data that is fully accessible without the burden of managing on-premise servers and storage.

DataArk, MediQuant's flagship product, is an "Active Archiving" application designed to allow healthcare organizations to utilize their legacy data when transitioning to new or updated information systems. Typically, a server is required to manage the application and data during the decommissioning period. The partnership enables the data to be stored off-site in ClearDATA's hosting centers with full accessibility by the client's application servers. As a cloud-based service, storage requirements are dynamically adjusted to the customer needs. As the data is fully decommissioned and encrypted for final archival storage, the storage requirements are minimized and cost efficiently managed for the remainder of the compliancy period.
